Witch Mountain
Fans (hardcore fans) of Escape to Witch Mountain and Return to Witch Mountain will enjoy this spoof documentary made by Jake Eisenmann. If you don't know who he is, you may not be hardcore. Bonus points for anyone who can name the role he played in Star Trek II.

All Clueless, All the Time
It seems that the Republicans have put as much effort into finding talent to perform at the innauguration as they put into Kerik's nomination.
From Kid Rock's "from Pimp of the Nation":
Pimp of the Nation, I could be it
As a matter of a fact, I foresee it
But only pimpin' hoes with the big tush
While you be left pimpin' Barbara Bush"

Justice, Sweet Justice
There are at least 70,000 people in the U.S. who think Ashlee Simpson sucks. And they let her know on national television during the Orange Bowl halftime show.

Gran Turismo 4 PS2 Review from 1UP.COM
1UP.COM has a review of the Japanese version of Gran Turismo 4. Here is a disturbing excerpt:
"Then the realization that this is Gran Turismo comes crashing home. Despite great discussion of artificial intelligence for the drivers things are the same as they ever were. Computer controlled cars drive their lines regardless of where you may be. Wind up in that line and you will be ruthlessly knocked away like an 8-ball that's just been struck by the cue. And like those prior races, the field is again limited to 6 racers total on the track. Where other racers have upped the ante to full racing fields it remains just you and 5 opponents."
Same old, same old. I am glad the graphics are a lot better, but who really wants 'Photo mode"?
One last nail in the coffin - no online play in the Japanese version. Oh, but the B Spec mode should more than make up for it!

Movie of the 00 decade: Napoleon Dynamite
Rex Kwan Do, the Liger, the constant steak eating, the uncle trapped in 1982 and the gratuitous nerd tantrums make this movie indescribable. Until you see a former high school quarterback bean a guy riding a bike in the face with a steak you haven't seen it all. This movie is worth buying. The dancing at the end is pretty good too.
