Canadians want strict security: poll

As a follow up to "What the fuck is wrong with you people", the Strategic Counsell has a new poll about Canadians views on security vs. personal freedom.

Some key points:

Question: What measures for the war on terrorism do Canadians support?

Deporting or jailing anyone who publicly supports terrorists or suicide bombers.

Oppose/strongly oppose: 15%

Strongly support/support: 81%

Don't know: 4%

So, thought crime will get you deported. Nice start.

Having video cameras in all public places.

Oppose/strongly oppose: 25%

Strongly support/support: 72%

Don't know: 2%

And the ankle grabbing begins.

Giving the U.S. any information it requests about Canadian citizens whom they suspect of being terrorists.

Oppose/strongly oppose: 33%

Strongly support/support: 62%

Don't know: 5%

Who are these retards? Why would you want another country to have access to information about any of our citizens?

I guess I value individual freedom more that this group of 1000 people, 19 times out of 20.

What is Wrong With You People?

The Globe and Mail has an online poll (and I know that all online polls are immediately suspect) about whether or not "Michaƫlle Jean [the new GG] and her husband should reveal how they voted in the 1995 Quebec referendum?"

No citizen of Canada should be compelled to reveal their vote, regardless of what position they hold. It is a plain and simple concept, free of nuance. All our votes are private, and I do not believe that we have the right to know how they voted.

Focus on the Family - Is My Child Becoming Homosexual?

Thanks to sadlyno.com for pointing out this bit of tripe from the fucktards at Focus on the Family.

I especially like this warning sign : "A tendency to cry easily, be less athletic, and dislike the roughhousing that other boys enjoy."

Yup, only football-playing, mouth-breathing jackasses are real men. Them others is queer!

Hopefully these monkeys can get together with Mr. Mensa, Vox Day, and cure America of all its woes.

WorldNetDaily: Why women's rights are wrong

I love worldnetdaily.com. They print articles that would be rejected by the Enquirer, yet they still get quoted by the likes of Rush and other bright lights of the media.

This piece on why women's rights are wrong is especially delicious. Take this quote for example :

"Men's increasing unwillingness to marry stems primarily from two causes -- the feminized family court system that transformed marriage from a mutually beneficial contract into a financial and emotional liability, and the removal of paternal responsibility for the sexual behavior of young women. Ergo, the need for marriage has been eliminated while its liabilities have increased. As Blue America and de-Christianizing Europe increasingly show, in the absence of religion there is now very little impetus for marriage."

I like the fact that Vox does not think that marriage should be an emotional liability. Oh how he longs for the good old days of dumping your long-suffering wife and whiny kids without so much as a backward glance. That would truly save red America.

I will leave you to titter at the rest of the tripe in his article.
