This is what passes for news/commentary/notice on a right-wing, Canadian blog, whose manifesto claims that it is "Taking sloppy liberal thinking and tearing it a new one".
Always with the irony these Reformers. And the hate. Don't forget the hate.

Get it Right, Soldier!
Jim Dandy Goodness
With the recent news out of Afghanistan, its been hard to remain optimistic about the continued Canadian military involvement there. A recent event there, and its follow-on effect in Canada, however, presented me with an opportunity to learn something new, which I hope to pass on to the rest of you. Just so something positive comes out of the tragedy....
For years now, I thought that when human remains were repatriated, they were passed to the family for a memorial service, often followed by their internment. In fact, as I learned when that word was incorrectly used in my workplace, the proper term is interment. How foolish of me.
That there may be even more serious mistakes associated with our involvement there is simply unmentionable. Best not ask too many questions, and just hope it ends up being worth all these Canadian lives.

Trudeau ♥s Castro
For your consideration - a piece in the Toronto Star written by Alexandre Trudeau. In said piece, Al waxes poetic about Fidel Castro. Here is a smidge. I would be curious as to your response to this bit of scribbling.
TheStar.com - The last days of the patriarch: "His intellect is one of the most broad and complete that can be found. He is an expert on genetics, on automobile combustion engines, on stock markets. On everything.
Combined with a Herculean physique and extraordinary personal courage, this monumental intellect makes Fidel the giant that he is.
He is something of a superman. "
