No, This is What's Really Frightening...

What's really frightening is...the absolute briliance of commenter Fred Badwulf.

Fred let's us know that:

China is in the vanguard of progressive nations, like Mugabe's Zimbabwe. What they do wrong is less wrong than if some other country did it.
In order to promote the anti-Western agenda, we use our Greenshirt tactics only to bash down the West.

I had no idea that China was getting such a free ride in terms of its treatment of the environment. Where are all those lefty, progressive, tree-hugging hippies anyway? Where is the CBC? Where are the scientists? Why are the data about China's energy use being hidden? Why are the media, government, and NGOs silent on this issue? China would listen if only we would speak up. Well, take heart Fred, some fearless souls have taken up the fight to change China. And guess what? They aren't Canada-hating hippies. Put that in your DMT pipe and smoke it Pete Seeger.

Zimbabwe has also gotten a free pass. The problems in that country have been ignored for years by the deranged socialists, the bleeding-heart lefties in Toronto, and neo-fascist Greenshirts mentioned by Mr. Badwulf. It is high time we called shenanigans on these vanguards of progress.

Gwynne finds that :

"Even within the United States, Paul reported, "the strongly theistic, anti-evolution South and Midwest" have "markedly worse homicide, mortality, sexually transmitted disease, youth pregnancy, marital and related problems than the North-East, where societal conditions, secularisation and acceptance of evolution approach European norms." As the most religious country of the eighteen surveyed, the United States also comes in with the highest rates for teenage pregnancy and for gonorrhea and syphilis..."
