Just Taking Her Vitamins

Kang has captured the Avengers! How will they get free? Luckily, the Scarlet Witch just barely manages to crack some plastic in order to free her fellow Avengers!

Hunh...and this is the woman who will wipe out every mutant in the Marvel universe. Must be using the same rejuvenation doctor as Madonna. Or Dara Torres.

A Rip-Roarin' Western Serial

Tune in next week the second hard-riding episode of...The Vigilante!

Gary Bell; Wrong Then, Wrong Now

Just wait long enough, and the crazy train comes roaring into the station. For a change, Gary Bell had it right on his Saturday show. He pointed out the constitutional realities of the current situation in Parliament, and seemed to be relatively cogent.

Sadly, it all went awry. As it always does. And whenever I point out the nonsense he is spouting, all the fanboys come a googling and spitting and swearing and rush to his defense. And god forbid I call the man a liar. "It's his opinion" you bray. "Glurglebagglegack" you sputter.

Fine, let's put Gary to the test. Central to his thesis that Governor General Michaƫlle Jean is under the sway of the Queen due to their close family ties, is his notion that the GG NEVER appears with the Queen in Canada. That the GG goes into hiding, stays under the radar, and doesn't poke his furry head out until early February. That Governor General Jean's presence in and around the Queen when Her Highness visits Canada is indicative of a special familial relationship.

Opinion or typical lie used to get one over on the rubes.

Let's see...

That's Vanier.

And here is Massey.

Oops, looks like Leger.

Could it be Massey again?

Clarkson too?

Et tu Schreyer?

I am sorry I didn't take the time to find some woodcuts of The Duke of Argyll and Queen Victoria, but I am sure this will suffice.

So either the Queen is related to all the Governors General from the last 60 years, or Gary is full of shit and can't back up his research once again. But you Spaceman fans are smart. You'll figure it out eventually.

Klagg!

Please tell me that when you saw this precious piece of video,

you were thinking of Harold Ramis yelling "Stop, or I'll shoe!".

Nobody?

Ah crap.
