My Bad, There is Stupid Even Greater Than Previously Thought

Kristy Harding, you are a fucking moron.

Here is Kristy's letter to the editor of the London Free Press. That socialist, leftist rag:

"The Human Rights Commission: Useful or Obsolete?
On April 13, 2009 people gathered to fight for our freedom of speech during 'The Human Rights Commission: Useful or Obsolete?' debate in London, Ontario with speakers Salim Mansur, Kathy Shaidle and Ezra LeVant.

Why does Canada have a totalitarian commission? This country founded on civil liberties is now being controlled by elitist that want to silence our real human rightsAto have individual thought. They invade personal lives to such a degree that if you are convicted they will legally limit your private and professional speech. How is this possible? Convict someone on the basis of what that person is thinking or feeling? We leaped from obvious solid crimes into the realm of thought crimes. We now live in an age of the 'Minority Report' movie mentality. Is this logical or possible?

Whether or not you agree with the HRC is of no consequence. No commission should accuse persons in the media. What happened to 'innocent until proven guilty'? This isn't jurisprudence or Canadian. The HRC has absolute power. Do we want ANYTHING to have that? We know what it will bring, absolute corruption. Well we already have it in the HRC don't we? Let's stand strong against it"

All hyperlinks are mine, and are sarcastic. Maybe Larry Cornies, Dan Brown, or some other shill of the corporate machine should remind me that what they do is great, shouldn't be mocked, and is worth my money. That they print this type of shit on the letters to the editor page show their desire to engage their readers in a meaningful dialogue. If people wrote to the Free Press, contending that the moon was made of green cheese, it would be printed without comment.

It's Like...

It's like when you get too drunk to think clearly and go home with the wrong person. You are drunk enough to start, but too drunk to finish. The sex goes on and on, 'cause you won't just stop; you've come this far, you might as well finish. But every sweaty minute that passes makes you more and more ashamed, and more anxious for it all to come to an end so that you can chew off your arm and find some solitude.

It's like that reading David Baldacci's "Last Man Standing", a book that one reviewer said "...Has the essential elements of a terrific David Baldacci novel". Much in the same way that the troll you bedded had the essential elements of a supermodel. Sure, all the parts are there, but the packaging and delivery is entirely wrong.

Waterwalker by Bill Mason

Waterwalker by Bill Mason, - NFB

This is Mason's best work. Gorgeous photography and some spectacular canoeing, both flat and whitewater.

I didn't know. Did you you know? The NFB has made hundreds of films available for viewing online. From The Cat Came Back, to Paddle to the Sea, to documentaries on Leonard Cohen, this is a treasure trove of Canadian culture available to all.

There's hockey too.
