Travel Tunes

Tunes from a fine fall day of driving.

Alright, that last one didn't stay on very long. But I rocked it for a minute before I got "The Look".

A Nice Surprise

You don't normally get excited about a trip south on the I-75, unless you are headed to Florida. And then it is meant to be withstood. But, if you go now, the trees are changing colours, and the view is incredible. Kentucky and Tennessee are, shall we say, resplendent. Plus, there are so many more "You are going to hell!" roadsigns, and two ENORMOUS crosses made out of aluminum siding that you can see from the interstate. I'll try to get some pictures on the way back. Fun fact, there are 37 churches within 10 minutes of where we are staying in southern Tennessee. And camo is a fashion choice. Evidently.

I am so out of place I feel gay. Bear gay, not cute gay.

Our Prayers Are Answered

Fantastic news from the small screen, ageless soap star, and "The Most Powerful Man in Television", Eric Braeden, is leaving 'The Young and the Restless'.

While this may be sad for millions of emotionally delayed soap opera fans, it is fantastic news for fans of desert war drama. Yes, Eric is now free to pursue a renewal of the finest war drama ever filmed for television, Rat Patrol!

Finally we can see Braeden as fans want him; cool, calm, and clad in khaki. Our long nightmare is finally at an end.
