I would like to propose a new award, perhaps given out on the JimDandy blog,
that celebrates bad tennis in movies. I would propose that we call it the
"Terry Thomas Hard Cheese Award".
My inspiration for this award comes from watching "Bridesmaids" which portrayed
a vicious women's doubles match. Where a player gets tubed maybe one a season this
match depicted four or 5 tubings of the gals boobs. The strokes were awful to watch.
Indeed, i challenge you to find a worse tennis scene in the movies, excluding those
with Dick Van Patten including the tv series "8 is enough".
