Some Intelligent Football Talk

Not talk really, more like paint-by-numbers.

Let's take a look at the OUA standings as of this past weekend.

GP W L PF PA PTS Win % Last 10 Streak
Western 6 6 0 290 136 12 1.000 6-0 Won 6
McMaster 6 5 1 201 116 10 0.833 5-1 Won 4
Ottawa 6 4 2 189 118 8 0.667 4-2 Won 1
Queen's 6 4 2 169 103 8 0.667 4-2 Won 4

That looks about right.

How about the national rankings as of Oct. 4?

1. Laval (1)
2. Western (2)
3. Calgary (3)
4. Sherbrooke (5)
5. McMaster (6)
6. Montreal (4)
7. Saskatchewan (9)
8. Saint Mary’s (7)
9. UBC (8)
10. Windsor (NR)

Everything seems to be in order. I guess we need a song to finish up here.

Update I guess I should be fair. Here are the national rankings from today:
1. Western (2)
2. Calgary (3)
3. Laval (1)
4. Sherbrooke (4)
5. Montreal (6)
6. McMaster (5)
7. Saskatchewan (7)
8. Saint Mary’s (8)
9. UBC (9)
10. Ottawa (NR)

Much better. So much better it requires another song. Oh yeah, fuck Queen's.

If It's Thanksgiving...

Then I'm at the beach.

One of the benefits to living in Southwestern Ontario is that the weather is still warm at Thanksgiving. Warm enough for a trip to Port Stanley and a (not so healthy) dinner at Mackies. No drama, no clean up. As a bonus, we were serenaded in Spanish by the fine gentleman shown below.

So there you go Kevin; no tits, but proof positive of a family tradition kept up for one more year.
